Roja Elysium Absolue: Fig, Lychee and a Very Pink Paradise

Roja Elysium Absolue is the latest addition to the brand’s Elysium universe. Elysium Absolue is reported as a new 2026 fragrance for women, built around juicy fruits, opulent florals and a woody, musky base. It also arrives in a bottle so unapologetically pink that subtlety has politely left the building.

The first published details describe a floral, fruity and woody composition opening with fig, lychee, raspberry and blackcurrant. Rose, ylang-ylang, neroli and tuberose form the heart, while orris butter, woods, resins, ambergris and musk give the base considerably more weight.

A new destination within Elysium

Elysium began in 2017 as one of Roja’s most recognizable masculine signatures, translating the idea of paradise into citrus, aromatics, fruit and polished woods. The collection has since expanded through Eau Intense, Elysium Noir and the Elysium Pour Femme fragrances.

Roja Elysium Absolue appears to belong to the feminine side of that world. Its pink-to-blue gradient bottle closely echoes Elysium Pour Femme, but the brighter fuchsia upper half and jewelled cap push the visual language into even more exuberant territory. If paradise needed evening lighting and a generous beauty filter, this would probably be it.

If pink bottles with absolutely no interest in subtlety are also your weakness, read my Perroy Azureblush review.

Fig, lychee and a full berry section

The opening combines fig and lychee with raspberry and blackcurrant. That is a crowded fruit basket, but not necessarily a predictable one. Fig may contribute a creamy green softness, while lychee brings its familiar rosy translucence. Raspberry and blackcurrant should provide sharper color and a darker, tangier contrast.

Compared with the bergamot, mandarin, blackberry and peach opening of Elysium Pour Femme, the reported structure sounds sweeter, denser and more saturated. The word Absolue therefore seems less about simply increasing concentration and more about amplifying the fantasy.

A floral heart with no interest in whispering

Rose, ylang-ylang, neroli and tuberose take over the heart. Neroli may preserve some brightness, but ylang-ylang and tuberose are hardly known for standing quietly in a corner. Together with rose, they suggest a creamy and voluptuous floral centre rather than the airy bouquet associated with the Eau de Parfum.

Whether that heart feels lush or overwhelming will depend on the balance. On paper, however, it gives Roja Elysium Absolue enough floral substance to avoid becoming another berry-forward fragrance carried almost entirely by pink packaging.

The base brings the expensive furniture

Pink pepper introduces spice before patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood create the woody structure. Orris butter adds a potentially powdery, cosmetic texture, while benzoin, ambergris and musks bring warmth, diffusion and a smoother finish. The listed material Elemodor, a woody amber ingredient from Symrise, adds another modern woody facet.

It is an extensive base, and one that may pull the perfume away from simple fruity sweetness. Roja note pyramids are rarely minimalist, but here the contrast is especially clear: colorful fruit and flowers above, polished woods, resins and musks below.

What has — and has not — been confirmed

At the time of writing, Elysium Absolue has appeared through fragrance news databases but is not yet listed on Roja London’s official Elysium collection page. The reported note pyramid and 2026 launch are consistent across the available sources; however, the perfumer, concentration, bottle size and official European price have not been confirmed.

That distinction matters. This is a launch preview, not a review and not an invitation to invent longevity from a photograph. Once Roja publishes the complete product information, those details can be added without pretending the bottle whispered them to us.

First impression, before smelling it

Roja Elysium Absolue is certainly not short of ideas. Fig, lychee, berries, tuberose, ylang-ylang, orris and ambergris could create a rich and dimensional fruity floral. They could also produce the olfactory equivalent of everyone arriving at the party in their most dramatic outfit.

Still, the structure is more interesting than the pink bottle initially suggests. The green creaminess of fig, the floral lift of neroli and the woody, powdery base may give the fragrance tension beneath its glossy surface. For now, it belongs on the test list — preferably beside Elysium Pour Femme, where we can discover whether Absolue truly offers a new paradise or simply turns up the saturation.
