Prada Trembled Blossoms: A Green Temptation I Didn’t Need
Another addition to Prada’s Olfactories collection, another beautifully dressed bottle, and another very expensive problem for my wishlist.
Another Day, Another Prada Obsession
I am beginning to suspect that Prada‘s Olfactories collection was specifically designed to destroy whatever financial discipline I have left. Not that there was much to begin with, but I was making an effort. Sort of.
After exploring Prada Compulsion, I’ve found myself staring at another creation from this ridiculously tempting collection: Prada Trembled Blossoms, a fragrance that managed to catch my attention before I knew a single thing about its composition.
And really, can you blame me? That gorgeous apple-green liquid, the pale blue label, the unmistakable Prada bottle and a name that sounds like it belongs in some wonderfully extravagant fashion editorial. Three excellent reasons to be interested, none of which has anything to do with how the perfume actually smells.
Perfectly reasonable behavior for someone who supposedly writes about fragrances.
The unfortunate part is that I don’t just want Trembled Blossoms. I want practically the entire Olfactories collection, which is becoming increasingly difficult to justify when each bottle costs €345. Apparently, appreciating Miuccia Prada’s aesthetic vision now requires a dedicated savings account.

Prada Trembled Blossoms: Nature, According to Prada
Introduced in 2026 as part of the latest additions to Prada’s exclusive Olfactories collection, Trembled Blossoms explores a particularly vivid interpretation of greenery. Rather than presenting another conventional floral fragrance, Prada has chosen a composition built around vegetal freshness, aromatic contrasts and an unexpectedly soft leather accord.
The fragrance belongs to the green chypre family, a classification that immediately makes things more interesting. Traditionally associated with contrasting facets of freshness, depth and earthy sophistication, the chypre family provides an intriguing framework for something that Prada describes through natural, almost tactile sensations.
Here, the central idea is a meeting between blackcurrant buds and peppermint, supported by a delicate vegetal leather accord. It’s a rather unusual combination, especially considering the fragrance’s romantic name and the almost playful colour of its liquid.
I was expecting blossoms. Prada apparently had other plans.
And frankly, I’m not complaining.
Blackcurrant, Peppermint and an Unexpected Leather Accord
According to Prada, the official composition of Trembled Blossoms is structured around three principal elements:
- Top notes: Blackcurrant buds
- Heart notes: Peppermint
- Base notes: Vegetal Leather Accord
Blackcurrant buds are particularly interesting in perfumery because their aromatic character can extend well beyond the juicy, fruity sweetness commonly associated with blackcurrant. They can introduce sharp, leafy, green and sometimes almost animalic nuances, depending on how they’re interpreted within a composition.
Peppermint adds another dimension. Fresh, aromatic and potentially quite assertive, it’s a note that can create a striking contrast with darker or more textured materials. Paired with blackcurrant buds, it suggests something intensely vegetal rather than traditionally fruity.
And then there’s the vegetal leather accord, which Prada describes as earthy, soft, delicate and musky, with a suede-like character. Instead of suggesting heavy leather, smoke or an aggressively dark composition, the official description points towards something considerably more subtle.
On paper, this is exactly the sort of contrast I find fascinating: bright greenery against a softer, more tactile foundation.
Of course, there’s an important distinction between what a fragrance promises and what actually happens once it reaches your skin. I haven’t smelled Prada Trembled Blossoms yet, so all these observations are based on Prada’s official description rather than personal testing.
Whether the mint dominates, the blackcurrant turns unexpectedly sharp or the leather creates something beautifully balanced remains to be discovered.
Which, unfortunately, makes me want to try it even more.
The Bottle Is Doing a Remarkable Amount of Persuading
Can we discuss the presentation for a moment?
Because Prada clearly understands that some of us have absolutely no resistance when a beautifully designed perfume bottle enters the conversation.

Trembled Blossoms retains the elegant visual identity of the Olfactories collection, with its rectangular glass bottle, textured dark cap and understated label. But the apple-green liquid transforms the entire presentation into something wonderfully fresh and visually striking.
The contrast with the pale blue label is particularly successful. It’s unexpected, slightly playful and unmistakably fashionable without becoming excessively decorative.
Then there’s the packaging. The fragrance is accompanied by a patterned silk pouch featuring Prada’s distinctive visual language, another detail that makes the experience feel closer to purchasing a fashion accessory than an ordinary perfume.
Do I need another fragrance simply because its colour looks fantastic in a photograph? Absolutely not.
Has that ever stopped me before? Let’s not ask ridiculous questions.
And while I usually insist that the fragrance itself should be the main attraction, I’m perfectly willing to admit that beautiful packaging can make the experience considerably more desirable.
Especially when it looks like this.

€345 for 100 ml: The Prada Problem
Now comes the less romantic part.
Prada Trembled Blossoms Eau de Parfum costs €345 for 100 ml on the official Italian Prada website.
That’s quite a commitment for a fragrance I haven’t even tested, regardless of how enthusiastically its presentation is currently campaigning for a place in my collection.
And Trembled Blossoms isn’t an isolated temptation. The Olfactories collection contains several fragrances that intrigue me, each with its own identity, distinctive name and impossibly attractive presentation.
Compulsion already had my attention. Now Trembled Blossoms has joined the list, and I’m increasingly concerned that exploring the entire collection might require some rather creative financial planning.
I could probably try being sensible and choosing just one.
But where’s the fun in that?
Joking aside, at this price, I would absolutely recommend testing the fragrance before purchasing it. An appealing composition and a beautiful bottle are excellent reasons to become curious, but they’re not enough to guarantee that you’ll actually enjoy wearing the perfume.
Even when the bottle looks as irresistible as this one.
Final Thoughts: Another One for the Wishlist
Prada Trembled Blossoms is one of those releases that reminds me why I find Prada’s more exclusive fragrance collections so fascinating.
There’s something particularly compelling about the combination of sophisticated presentation, unexpected olfactory ideas and names that seem designed to provoke curiosity.
In this case, the contrast between the romantic imagery of trembling blossoms and the distinctly green composition of blackcurrant buds, peppermint and vegetal leather makes the fragrance even more intriguing.
I haven’t smelled it, so I’m not going to pretend that I already know whether it’s wonderful, disappointing or somewhere in between. For now, what I can say is that the presentation has completely won me over, while the official composition gives me a genuine reason to investigate further.
Will Trembled Blossoms eventually join my collection? That depends on what happens when I finally get it on my skin.
Although I must admit that my wishlist has already made its decision.
My bank account, on the other hand, would very much appreciate being consulted.
