Created by perfumer Andreas Wilhelm, Luvani is inspired by the moonflower, whose blossoms open after dark and remain visible until the first light. Pernoire translates that nocturnal image into a composition of white flowers, vanilla, incense and woods: materials that can easily become opulent, but are arranged here around the idea of a quieter presence.

His involvement gives Luvani continuity within the brand while allowing Pernoire to explore a more restrained register: still rich in materials and contrasts, but centred on closeness rather than sheer volume.

Is Pernoire Luvani worth watching?
On paper, absolutely. Moonflower, jasmine, tuberose, incense and vanilla create a compelling nocturnal framework, while hazelnut leaves, guaiac wood and olibanum suggest enough contrast to prevent the composition from becoming predictable.
For now, Luvani remains a promise rather than a personal verdict: a white floral extrait that aims to whisper instead of shout. That premise alone makes it one of Pernoire’s most interesting releases to follow—and a fragrance I would gladly put on skin before saying anything more definitive.
