Maurice Roucel

Maurice Roucel is a French master perfumer known for compositions shaped by sensuality, precision and a fearless use of musk, white flowers and amber. Originally trained as a chemist, he joined Chanel’s laboratory in 1973 before developing a prolific career that includes fragrances such as Musc Ravageur, 24 Faubourg and Iris Silver Mist. For Hellenist Parfums, he composed La Nuit des 300, a dark and magnetic blend of musk, lavender, tonka, patchouli and sandalwood.
