I don’t believe niche is automatically better than designer.
I love perfume, but I don’t believe every new release is a masterpiece, every niche fragrance is superior or every expensive bottle deserves applause.
Davide Parfums is where I share honest reviews, practical guides, photography and slightly dramatic opinions about designer and niche fragrances, without the snobbery.
Designer and niche. No hierarchy, no worship, no nonsense.

How it started
It started with photography. I loved the shapes, colours and tiny details of perfume bottles long before I had any idea I would end up writing about fragrance too.
Over time, the collection grew, the opinions got louder and taking pretty pictures was no longer enough. I wanted a space for honest reviews, useful guides and everything the fragrance community makes wonderfully dramatic.
What you’ll find here
Honest fragrance reviews, practical guides, new releases, personal recommendations and opinions that may occasionally be more dramatic than necessary.
You’ll find designer and niche perfumes side by side, because good fragrance does not need a hierarchy. Just curiosity, an open mind and, apparently, very little financial self-control.
A few things you should know
I have a weakness for white florals, orange blossom and tuberose.
I’m not impressed by a fragrance just because it is niche or expensive.
I overspray, buy more bottles than necessary and reserve the right to change my mind after a proper wear.
Most importantly, every opinion here is my own. No perfume worship, no fake enthusiasm and no pretending that everything deserves a standing ovation.
My bottles, my rules.
